Middlesbrough Decking Free quote

Where we work

We work right across Middlesbrough's suburbs, mostly south of the A174 and around the parks. Each area has its own kind of garden, and that shapes the decks we build.

In short

We cover Middlesbrough and its suburbs: Linthorpe, Acklam, Kader, Brookfield, Tollesby, Marton, Nunthorpe and Grey Towers, Ormesby, Coulby Newham, Stainton and Thornton. If you're just outside these, send your postcode and we'll tell you straight away whether we can help.

Linthorpe and Acklam

The Avenue and the streets around Albert Park and Linthorpe Road are full of big Edwardian and Victorian semis, with long gardens, high walls and old trees. Decks here are usually just off the kitchen or a new garden room, with composite boards chosen for the shade. In Acklam, around Acklam Hall and Kader, the 1930s semis and detached houses have wider plots, and a deck often replaces a cracked old patio.

Marton and Brookfield

Marton's gardens tend to be generous, and many back onto Stewart Park or open green space. People want room for a table and a barbecue, and often a second, smaller deck at the sunny end. Brookfield and Tollesby have plenty of 1950s and 60s houses where a deck replaces worn concrete.

Nunthorpe and Grey Towers

Nunthorpe has some of Middlesbrough's largest houses, plenty of them on land that drops away towards the south, with views towards the hills. Raised decks with glass balustrades are common requests. Around Grey Towers Village the newer homes have smaller, steeper gardens, where a well-planned split-level deck makes a big difference.

Ormesby

The older houses round Ormesby Bank and the lanes near Ormesby Hall often sit on real slopes. We build decks that step down the garden in levels, with care over drainage because water runs down hill towards the house next door.

Coulby Newham, Stainton and Thornton

Coulby Newham's detached homes are mostly from the 1980s onwards, often with a gently sloping lawn and a fence on three sides. Stainton and Thornton are more village-like, with older detached houses, bigger plots and a more rural feel. Hardwood often suits those gardens.
